Pantry Sponsor— Angela, Khara, Nimah

Updated: Dec 8, 2021

This week’s Little Free Food Pantry sponsor is the Dalton family. Angela and her two daughters, Khara and Nimah, reside in Newport. She is originally from Del Rio, Tennessee. Being from a remote community, Angela has seen the struggle of others and likes to help whenever the opportunity is presented.

Angela loves Cocke County and wants the best for this community. She works hard at the Little House of Pancakes in Gatlinburg, Tennessee, and was looking for a way to make a difference in her hometown. “I had some extra money and I know you (the Hope House of Cocke County) will do good with it,” is what Angela had to say when we asked her what drove her to donate to the Hope House. Any time the Hope House of Cocke County has been at a community event that she has attended, such as Del Rio Days, she always stops by and lets her girls participate in the activity— be it cookie decorating or succulent planting.

We are so grateful Angela stepped up to be this week’s sponsor. We love your family and willingness to help our community!

We are still seeking additional donors to sponsor our food pantries around town. As a reminder, a donation of $150 easily fills all five pantries! Please remember a local charity this holiday season. We depend on your continued support.

If you— like Angela and her family— are able to do so, we hope you will consider donating to the Hope House of Cocke County by check or PayPal Friends and Family

Checks can be made payable to “Hope House of Cocke County” and mailed to:

PO Box 1019

Newport, TN 37822

For PayPal, our username is:

Truly, a donation of any size will make a big impact on our community.
